DSM Instructional – Retention
These
instructions cover using the retention feature in DSM
Go
to ACTION > FINANCIAL HISTORY
Look
up your customer and hit OK:
NOTE:
You can also access the financial history from any customer screen as
well.
You
will see the following screen:
Notice
that in a prior instructional, we made a payment. The payment was a check for 500 dollars. Shown here on the financial history screen is
the status of the invoice in question.
To edit it or see the details, you may either double click the invoice
or highlight it and click See details in the lower left hand of the screen.

To enter
in the retention amount, Enter the amount then a date marked as retention2

Print the retention invoice if you wish
3.
Click OK to save the record.
Now
we will see the customer financial history reflect as such:
